Cirno is an ice fairy. While she is described as a weak boss in the Touhou series, if we consider the power of average fairies - who appear often as regular enemies - we can certainly say she is exceptionally strong for her kind. Her personality is childish, as you might expect from her appearance, and she is sometimes considered stupid.

During the events of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, she attacked the player, who was just passing by, out of instinctive aggression. She was helplessly shot down.

In Perfect Cherry Blossom, she returned to take revenge for her previous fight, but was only a mid-boss and was easily defeated like one...

In Phantasmagoria of Flower View Cirno aimlessly wanders about, apparently unconcerned by the flower incident for any reason other than the flowers being something else for her to freeze and play with. Through her dialog her true childish nature is revealed, leaving no doubt that she really isn't smart at all. She really wasn't meaning to do anything but play games.

Kaenbyou Rin

Race: Kasha

Occupation: Controller of spirits in the remnants of the Hell of Blazing Fires

Orin is one of Satori's pets, whose job is to carry corpses to the former Hell of Blazing Fires to regulate its heat. Before the events of Subterranean Animism, Rin learned of her old friend Utsuho's newly acquired power, and of her plans to conquer the above ground. She decided to drive the evil spirits to above ground to lure the youkai in and get them to help her, but instead a human appears before her. Upon seeing that human is unexpectedly strong, though, she asks her to help Utsuho.

Her real name is Kaenbyou Rin.
She doesn't like long names, though, so she has everyone call her Orin.
A cat that lives among the flames, and Satori's pet. Since she's well-spoken and can converse freely with corpses and spirits, she was left in charge of controlling the spirits in what was once the Hell of Blazing Fires.
She has an old friend named Reiuji Utsuho. They've been close friends since before the time Satori began taking care of her, that is, the time when the underground separated from Hell.
One day, she felt a disturbance in what was left of the Hell of Blazing Fires.
She had discovered a frighteningly strong power, or had been given it by someone.
Since then, Utsuho began to grow stronger, and to seek out power.
Eventually, she started talking health insurance about conquering the above ground and turning it into a scorching hell.
There's no way she should have been able to do that. There's no way Satori would allow it.
If anybody underground found out about this plan, the oni would probably take care of Utsuho.
Amazed by the transformation her friend had undergone, Orin began to delve into a forbidden art.
That forbidden art was how to drive the evil spirits above ground. If she could force some sort of incident with the youkai above ground, something would surely change.
She was trying to get the youkai above ground to help her, but what finally appeared before her was a human from above ground.
That human was unexpectedly strong, and what is more, she specialized in youkai extermination.
If she's really that strong, Orin thought, she might be able to deal with Utsuho.
Everything would have turned out fine if Orin had just gone to Satori in the first place, but she thought it would be better if she tried to hide what Utsuho was doing. If Satori had found out about Utsuho's plan, she thought, she'd waste no time dealing with Utsuho in a ruthless fashion.

Chen

Race: Nekomata

Ability: Black Magic

Occupation: Ran's Shikigami

Location: Mayohiga / Boundary of Gensokyo





Chen is Ran's shikigami, who was guarding the village of Mayohiga during the events of Perfect Cherry Blossom. Unfortunately, she could put up little resistance due to being far away from her master.
Later, she guards the path to Ran Yakumo, and is much more powerful due to her master's proximity.

Stage 2 Boss, a shikigami that possesses a cat living in the mountain. Her primary ability is black magic.
She is Ran's shikigami, which makes her a shikigami of a shikigami of a youkai. Although she's a shikigami, her normal form is not a charm or anything like that; she always remains in her human-like form. Even without being in shikigami possession she can speak the human language and fly around, but her abilities will be health insurance limited to merely surprising people. Also, while non-possessed, neither her appearance nor personality changes, but she still sits by a kotatsu in the winter.
In shikigami form, this cat-figure acquires the fearsome power of a wrathful god. But because her master is a shikigami as well, her power is somewhat lowered.
When touched by water, her shikigami possession is unlinked from her master. As a cat her normal form also hates water, so she is always weak against water.

Rumia

Race: Night Youkai

Ability: Darkness Manipulation

Rumia is a youkai that can manipulate the darkness, but judging from her Embodiment of Scarlet Devil appearance, she is only powerful enough to make it seem like late evening. Apparently she is quite simple-minded, but isn't featured in enough conversations for details about her personality to be revealed.
Rumia's hair ribbon is actually an amulet. She can't touch it, so she can't take it off.
In the events of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, she's attacked by the heroines for no reason (probably just as a general warmup), and has nothing to do with the main story.
According to comments about her in the Bunbunmaru health insurance Newspaper and in Perfect Memento it seems that she's constantly surrounded by a mass/blob of darkness at all times except during the new moon, and so is rarely actually seen in person. Despite her innocent appearance, she eats humans.

She is of no importance to the story, and isn't up to anything in particular in her life. The ribbon tied to her hair is actually a charm; she can't touch it even though there have been times when she wanted to take it off.
There is no evidence of her ability in the game, but in truth, places around her are always as dark as night.

Komeiji Satori

Race: Satori

Ability: Power to read people's minds

Occupation: Master of the Palace Earth Spirit

Satori is the Mistress of the Palace of the Earth Spirits after the underground city was separate from Hell. Her ability to read "minds" makes various youkai and spirits fearful of her, while leaving her well-loved by the animals that normally can't be understood. With these animals as pets, she manages the ruin of inferno where her home stands. During the events of the Subterranean Animism the Heroine (from above ground) invaded her home. After an encounter, she permitted the Heroine passage towards the Hell of Blazing Fires to ask her pets about their supposed problem.

The master of the Earth Spirit Palace.
The underground city was separated from Hell, but a number of uncontrollable spirits remained in the former facilities of Hell, so there was a need to control them.
The Earth Spirit Palace is built above what was the Hell of Blazing Fires, and this is where she took up residence. Since she can read others' hearts, all sorts of youkai and spirits fear her, so eventually people stopped visiting the Earth Spirit Palace.
On the other hand, her power makes her well-loved by animals that don't speak, so eventually the premises began to overflow with many pets, starting with blaze cats and hell ravens.
Her great number of pets made it difficult to manage the Hell of Blazing Fires, so she entrusted parts of its management to some of her pets.
Her pets would oversee other pets.
Her pets would tend the gardens.
Her pets would play with her younger sister.
However, what shouldn't have happened did: a human came from above ground, and she was surprised when they started asking about evil spirits and a geyser.
Satori left Orin in charge of the evil spirits and Utsuho in charge of the Hell of Blazing Fires. They were both loyal to Satori, so they shouldn't have done any harm. She believed there was no way they'd start some sort of incident.
She thought that perhaps the human before her was spouting off lies and trying to trick her, so she read her heart and was surprised again by what she saw.
There was almost nothing to be seen inside the humans' hearts about the evil spirits or the geysers. Suspicious, Satori decided to test them.

Flandre Scarlet

Race: Vampire

Ability: Destructive Power

Flandre is the younger sister of Remilia and the "dirty little secret" of Scarlet Devil Mansion. Because of her unstable personality and incredible destructive power, her sister has had her locked up in the basement for nearly 500 years. She knows little about the world outside and until the heroines arrived during the Extra Stage of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
Flandre's Second Spell Card (Taboo "Lävatein" or Lævateinn) shares its name with the sword (wand in some versions) of Loki, a Norse god known for causing mischief. This sword/wand is used by the fire giant Surt in Ragnarok (the Norse equivalent of the Apocalypse) to burn down the whole world, except for one safe haven. Fitting that Flandre would be wielding a tool of such destructive might.
Her boss theme ("U.N. Owen was her?") and her second-to-last spell card ("Secret Barrage - And Then There Will Be None?") are references to Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None (also published as Ten Little Indians and Ten Little Niggers). U.N. Owen (which the characters of the novel naturally deduced to mean "Unknown" and also recognized as referring to Mr. Owen's wife) was actually seen in person in that thriller but was only revealed at the end.

Ability: Destruction of anything and everything
The Extra Boss. Also the Mistress's younger sister.
She is a vampiric magical girl and has been the Scarlet Devil's younger sister for about 495 years.
She's kind of nuts and isn't usually allowed out of the cellar, but she usually doesn't try to let herself out.
She really respects her older sister Remilia, but her raw destructive power far exceeds that of her sister's. Although she is usually docile, her insanity makes it difficult for others to understand her.
When vampires attack humans, they generally try to take their prey alive so that they can suck its blood afterward, but Flandre has always been fed with cooked dishes, so she doesn't know how to properly attack a human. Whenever she tries to attack a human, she can't control herself and blows them away without leaving a spot of blood.
Perhaps she can't tell that her daily meals are made from living humans.
Her meals look like such harmless foodstuffs as cake and tea, after all...

Mystia Lorelei

Race: Night Sparrow Youkai

Ability: Night-Blind, Confussion Song

Mystia is a little Night Sparrow with an egocentric personality - at least she sounds arrogant - that enjoys infusing confusion and terror into the hearts of humans using her ability: a song that creates confusion in those who hear her. Her song seems to attract nearby monsters as well. She roams a road near the Human Village that Keine tries to protect, in search of humans to frighten. She is indeed feared by the locals as people around her become blinded by darkness.
She gets "eaten" by Yuyuko of the Ghost team in Imperishable Night's story mode, making her a popular "joke character" as she's usually pictured as food. Even ZUN mocks her in his spell card comments.
She hates Yakitori (grilled chicken on sticks) because she is a kind of bird. So she started a grilled lamprey stand instead of a Yakitori stand. (It was believed that lampreys had eight eyes and are able to cure night blindness.) She uses this as part of a con-act: she will travel with her stand at night, use her power to make unwary travelers night-blind, then sell them grilled lamprey, and slowly remove the effect as they eat it, claiming that the lamprey was what cured them.
During the events of Phantasmagoria of Flower View, Mystia aimlessly wanders around singing, hoping to catch and eat humans attracted by the flowers. Instead, she attracts (or rather, annoys) the other protagonists and ends up fighting each in turn.
Even though her songs are meant to scare and confuse humans, in many fan works she is depicted happily singing with a graceful voice, sometimes viewed with a microphone. It is also common to find her alongside the Prismriver Sisters in fan works, where the four makes up a band in which she serves as the main singer.

Kawashiro Nitori

Race: Kappa

Recently, the kappa heard some news that greatly excited them. According to the gods of the mountain, a high-temperature nuclear furnace was being completed underground. They wanted to get their hands on it as soon as possible to perform various tests with it.
However, the kappa didn't want to go underground where the oni lived. As they were wondering how they could investigate the underground, they heard a rumor that Reimu would be going there at the request of the other youkai.
Ever taking the initiative, Nitori decided to go convince Marisa to explore underground, since Marisa didn't seem to have anything better to do.

Inaba of the Moon & Inaba of the Earth

It's a 4-koma manga series drawn by artist Toshihiro Arata and it's published in "Manga 4koma Kings Palette". In contrast to other printed works, Touhou, Zun credited as "原案 (settings and character designs), not 原作 (scenario).
東方儚月抄 (romanized Touhou Bougetsushou, meaning Eastern Ephemeral Moon Vignette) is a loosely interconnected storyline about the Lunarians that includes Silent Sinner in Blue, Cage in Lunatic Runagate, and Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth. Bougetsushou can be translated as "Ephemeral Moon Vignette": compare with 東方永夜抄　～ Imperishable Night (romanized Touhou Eiyashou, meaning "Eastern Eternal Night Vignette".) Note that in the title, "Inaba" [of the Moon] is written in katakana, but "Inaba" [of the Earth] is written in kanji.

It tells us about people in eientei's daily activity with lot of humours in this series that reach 30 chapters including c72 special and c74 special. Well... it's really a recommended manga for those who claim to love touhou. It's really lol me out for how reisen tortured by Eirin and bullied by Tewi besides the NEET Kaguya. Along with the numerous rabbits that live in the secluded mansion, Eientei.

Touhou Hisoutensoku

Hisoutensoku/TH12.3 is an expansion fighting game of Scarlet Weather Rapsody with Additional five characters including: Kochiya Sanae, Cirno, Hong Meiling, Reiuji Utsuho, Moriya Suwako.
Combining this expansion with the installation of Touhou Scarlet Weather Rhapsody allows the use of additional characters in the new expansion.

Like its former game like Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, Touhou Hisoutensoku is a game created by ZUN and Tasogare Frontier. Tasogare Frontier is well-known for its games such as Eternal Fighter Zero, Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsod. All of them are 2D Fighting game.

Touhou Hisoutensoku maintain the same mechanism spell cards, spirit orbs, and the weather as the Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, but also introduces new characters played Touhou, spell cards, and the type of weather. Many existing spell cards, weather-type and graphics from the Scarlet Weather Rhapsody has changed and in addition to new characters, characters that have been moved spells a new card. Additionally, each playable character now has a card system (such as healing, weather changes, bombs, etc.) that is linked to that used by the characters each time opened.

Hisoutensoku is a giant apparition less clear because of different captured by people who saw it, Cirno saw it as daidarabochi, Sanae derived from the real world assume it as a robo-mecha, while Meiling who grew up in china, take it as Tai Sui Xing Jun.

Moriya Suwako

Shrine of the true god of Moriya. She is the God of the Mountains, and had become leaders of various gods who live in the mountains.
During ancient times, She is the god of control "Mishaguji". Mishaguji is the curse of the god who has obtained a large amount of faith, born cursed, harvest, military, and many other things. Creating a terrifying god of light will result in divine punishment. The only thing that can tame this god is Suwako. Therefore, She obtained a tremendous amount of faith, and cultivated as the ruler of an empire while still a god.

However, many other gods Yamato (ancient Japanese) attacked his kingdom. One god is Kanako. The gods Yamato continues to conquer the many small kingdoms for themselves. They say that eventually, they will unite all countries and create a country called Japan.
Of course, Suwako refused and fought with steel weapons best time. However, Kanako thrusting thin wine, and a large arsenal of direct Suwako rusted steel. Suwako aware of the differences and defeat their divine powers. She was brave and let go of her kingdom was canceled.

So, Kanako Moriya reach the Kingdom.
However, Moriya community can not forget the fear of their native gods, Mishaguji, and can not accept their new god.
Kanako think she can not get the faith of the people, and gave up making her own kingdom. Instead, She called the new god and merged with the god of Moriya's. In the kingdom, the new god was called Moriya, but are called by other names outside the kingdom. In this way, it seems as if the ruling monarchy. Moriya is, of course, Moriya. And so Kanako Suwako borrow strength, and secretly reign as God's Mountain.

New god who is said to have ruled over the kingdom is only in the name of god, who exists only to preserve the legend of Yamato. In fact, Suwako continue to govern the kingdom. Although the gods of the modern world has been largely replaced by Yamato Legends, She is still in its original form secretly collecting the faith.

Morichika Rinnosuke

Race: Half-Human, Half Youkai

Rinnosuke walk Kourindou, an antique shop near the Forest of Magic. He chose this location in the hope that both men and non-human potential customers will be visited, but the plan failed miserably as his shop was always quiet, with the exception of some of the daily "noise".

What Rinnosuke actually still not known. His appearance is that of a human being, but the official story says that he has lived several times longer than Reimu. His appearance has not changed since Marisa was a small child, at least. It also said that he knew about the descendants of previous Hakurei, and the formation of Temple Hakurei and objectives.

Rinnosuke known for the great interest in the outside world, and using a collection of items from the outside world (which does not accidentally slip over the limit) as the lineup of his shop. With the recognition ability, he can determine the name and purpose of each item is familiar, but he still could not say how they are used. Because of the lack of knowledge about the outside world and modern science, he often ends up to draw conclusions about the weird stuff.
Rinnosuke seems he described only humanoid that has been introduced in the Touhou series so far.
Rinnosuke was the one who gives Marisa Mini-Hakkero. He stated that he is his own invention and that the miracle join in Gensokyo and technology from the outside world (which he refers to as a form of magic beyond do not need spiritual power). He also repaired and improved Mini-Hakkero at least once.

Kagiyama Hina

Race: Curse Goddess

Ability: Ability to store up a curse

Hina is the leader Nagashi-bina doll army whose job is to scare the man lost too near Mount Youkai and collect their misfortune. When Hina see the hero almost Youkai Mountain of Faith Mountain for him trying to scare off. This is not because Hina is cruel, he's really trying to help the hero he thinks he can lose on such a dangerous mountain. However, despite good intentions, and claim as a friend to man, warrior women are not too happy with Hina get on the road and had to beat him.

Every human or surrounding Youkai will experience misfortune. However, he himself never had this problem. This will only affect the people around him.
Hina spin can be made by reference to its ability to store a curse. This is because the kanji for the curse (厄) looks somewhat like a swirl, just like the one in his shirt.

Alice Margatroid

Race : Magician (Was formerly a human, but species changed due to training and high dexterity)

Ability : Use of magic, Puppet master, Puppetry

Age : Unknown

Location : Forest of Magic




A genuine magician who living in the Forest of Magic. She spends most of his time alone at home or in the forest. Fairly moist forest, but had feared her dolls would be damaged without her constant care. Therefore, she is currently planning to make a doll that will automatically take care of other dolls.

Alice is one of only a few people known to live within the Forest of Magic. She's a performer known primarily for her practiced use of dolls as well as being an outsider. She gets in many fights with Marisa but they're actually kind of close, division many of the same interests and even teaming up during Imperishable Night. It's like a devotion/detest relationship certainly.

In Immaterial and Missing Power the limitless popular of her attacks intricate dolls in one way or another, whichever attacking for her or being worn as explosives. Alice Margatroid is a game specialist, but dolls are more like a hobby in comparison to her stuffed muscle. Alice is forever seen with a safe grimoire in her hands, which is thought to be the same "Grimoire of Alice" that she fought the protagonist with as the Mystic Square Extra Boss.

Because Alice, different Marisa, is much more interested in plan and hates having to win an argument from sheer overwhelming weight, she forever holds back even if it means trailing. In Touhou Hisoutensoku she creates a giant doll and tests it in dispute against Cirno at the end of the last's Story Mode.

Alice Margatroid is a versatile magician, that has no precise brawny or weak place in any sphere. If you ask me, she is alike to Marisa, or quite I'd say a youkai type of Marisa. Alice is an antenna as well, and has the liking of collecting artifice items, especially charm books. As they, both portion the same hobby, she regularly clashes with Marisa so they're nearly in a cat-and-dog relationship.

Most recently, she is interested in collecting dolls that have a buzz associated with them.

She had no evident logic to condemn Reimu and party. They were selected for the intention of her appeal because they were there. Dominating the opponent with overwhelming nation is not fun at all for Alice, so she always sees her opponent's feedback and tries to conflict with energy that exceeds the opponent by a fleece. Even if she loses, she doesn't show her filled intensity.

Inubashiri Momiji

Race: White Wolf Tengu

Ability: Power to see great distance

Age: Unknown

Occupation: Patrols and Guards around Youkai Mountain

Location: Youkai Mountain

Tengu who patrol the Youkai Mountain. Thanks to his superior senses of sight and smell, he could detect any intruder in an instant. When he found the intruder he was trying to intimidate them with simple assault, and their reports are not immediately defeated by host large Tengu.

His troops are usually lying in wait behind the waterfall. He has a personality that is very cooperative and carry out their duties faithfully. It is unusual for Youkai, but not uncommon in society Tengu.

However, he usually has a lot of free time, as the Youkai Mountain does not receive a lot of intruders. While awaiting orders, he enjoys playing the game more time-consuming with a kappa DaiShogi called nearby.
Because Shigure is a white wolf tengu, despite some initial fanworks showed him the distinguished look of a man, he has become common to describe with wolf ears and tail. His eyes are often indicated as a red, a color matching costumes. He is also depicted in art with a fan wearing long-sleeved shirt that apart from the rest of his clothes, like wearing sleeves Reimu and Sanae.

Endless Alice

Endless Alice is one of many fandom Touhou doujin game created by LION HEART.

Gameplay:

As the title says, we play around as Alice. Players control Alice in this platform shooter to destroy as many mushrooms as they can in a single-screen map of choice. Each continues indefinitely until the player runs out of lives. Alice is armed with an endless supply of dolls which she flings or powers up to create a blast, which may be used to start a chain effect of exploding enemies.



There are 3 kind of mushroom:
Green Mushroom: Jump around but won't jump down
Yellow Mushroom: Jump around and will jump down
Red Mushroom: Jump and chase you

Kirisame Marisa: Flies across the top of the screen on a broomstick and shoots a star

Mystical Chain

Mystical Chain is one of many fandom Touhou doujin game created by LION HEART.

Gameplay:

There are three playable characters including Kirisame Marisa, Patchouli Knowledge, Alice Margatroid. Each stage has five levels. Four first level of each stage feature a little more that must be defeated opponent to level to delete. Last level is a boss fight. There are four levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal, Hard and Lunatic. Difficulty hard opponents' do more damage, and their attacks more features danmaku. In addition, difficulties have cost much less difficult magic, which is used to activate special attacks. On Hard and Lunatic, the enemy who has knocked down the invincible frame as long as they wake up, and recover more quickly from the boss who was thrown from spellcards. In Lunatic, even common enemies have the chance to strike you out twice before they are invincible.
