Like its former game like Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, Touhou Hisoutensoku is a game created by ZUN and Tasogare Frontier. Tasogare Frontier is well-known for its games such as Eternal Fighter Zero, Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsod. All of them are 2D Fighting game.
Touhou Hisoutensoku maintain the same mechanism spell cards, spirit orbs, and the weather as the Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, but also introduces new characters played Touhou, spell cards, and the type of weather.
